Heartside at the East Hills Big Bang Art Sale - 8/17/13

Unlike the other individual artist booths, Heartside Art Gallery was permitted (and paid for) a shared space for participating Heartside artists.
Heartside staff and artists loved running into each other.

Interesting and diverse art was everywhere -
some of which came home with me:  an actual prohibition ticket, a unique card created from a 1950s school workbook, and a cool Bird Girl necklace.
But lastly, we became fascinated by the earrings-from-bottle-caps booth.
Customers could pick from those already made, with many
Michigan Breweries represented, or pick from the caps on the table
and she'd make them while you wait, with the style of your choice.
Several pairs were sold to our group because they were quite irresistible :-)
These three interchangeable "beerings" came home with me.
The art sale continues through tomorrow so stop in to find some wonderful art!
Find it on the front lawn of Mangiamo, 1033 Lake Drive SE.
