Meijer Gardens ~ June 6, 2025

It was a beautiful day for a walk and I wanted to see a couple of new things that were recently installed at the Gardens. The first one was the Bronze Bowl with Lace, first spotted on May 16.
Here it is today, from the Male/Female sculpture, and then close-up.
There's Male/Female in the distance on the left.
Also new in 2025 is the Bedford Sentinel II, I, III by Beverly Pepper.
This is Yizhaq & Eli'av by Boaz Vaadia, installed in 2025 and also first sighted on May 16.
In 2024, this cabin was installed, The Curiosity Shop, designed by Mark Dion.
Ways to Say Goodbye was installed in 2022 and is a 20 foot tall aluminum fig tree with shards of glass in its branches. Ariel Schlesinger designed it as a Holocaust Memorial.
"Busted" is a temporary exhibit of contemporary sculpture busts and these are some of the new "faces" I saw.
Here are some older "faces" that I've come to see so many times and that are permanent installations.
And also some favorite no "faces" from today 😊
Faces aside, the beauty of Meijer Gardens is everywhere in any season.
One late Magnolia blossom was such a treat to see.
There's always something new to see if you look around, so until next time, FMG 😊
