Ai WeiWei and Winter are here at Meijer Gardens ~ 1/20/17

The first thing that caught my eye was this wall. This is a new addition and a volunteer told me it was part of the soon-to-open Ai WeiWei exhibit. Cool.

Each image has a date beneath it and apparently there are just two panels that are alike. I didn't take the time to look for that but I did spot one that didn't have a complete date on it, whatever that means, and I'm sure it means something :-)

A quick walk through the Arid Garden before I headed outside showed me more new additions, and I can't wait to see what else will appear.

This gray, misty day kept most people away and I wandered by myself throughout the Japanese Garden.

Our mild temperatures resulted in an interesting mix of ice and open water.
